Places That You Can Explore during the Pandemic in Delhi-NCR

Are you craving a break from staying at home? Want to go out but also have the fear of the virus.

So here in this blog, I have some driveable destinations in the Delhi-NCR, that you can visit, explore and have a memorable time , while also being socially distant from people.


1.) Dilli Haat- The Heart Of Delhi

A people's favourite where all states come to one place. Dilli Haat, one of the unique places in the city, and as a lot of people say that there is Delhi and then there is Dilli Haat.

Apart from being a heaven for shopaholics, this is also the place for art enthusiasts. A great place to witness the diverse art and craft of the country.


Are you a foodie? And have the dream of trying different cuisines of the north, south, east and west of the country? Well this is the right place, since Dilli Haat has a one of a kind food court where you will find a diversity of the food stalls serving authentic,delectable food. Now whether you’re a Dosa , a Cholley Bhature,Saboodana khicri or a momo fan, You need not worry you can all this and much more at this fantastic destination.

This six acre area situated in the INA, New Delhi, never fails to impress anyone. Delhi is not home to just one Dilli Haat but also there are two more, one located in Janakpuri while the other one is in Pitampura.

2. Lodhi Art District- Art that will touch your heart

A one of a kind place and different from all the places in this list, Lodhi Art District, India’s first ever open air art district. Located between Khanna Market and Merchant Market in Lodhi Colony. The open air art district was created by ‘ st+art’ India, a non profit organization, that endeavours to make art accessible to everyone. Do you know that twenty five artists from all over the country joined hands to make Lodhi Art District what it is today.

With upto fifty- four murals and counting which take on versatile themes like from social to environmental issues, Lodhi art District is that one place that you can visit in this time while keeping yourself safe from the virus.

A unique place for all the art enthusiasts ,also an amazing place for photography and just a couple of kilometres away from the JLN Metro Station, Lodhi Art District is a must visit place in this list.


3. The Garden of Five Senses- Let's Kindle Our Senses

you, which takes you far from the maddening crowd, a place to venture, introspect and have a pleasant time with your loved ones, that too in Delhi! Well!! Yes and it’s a garden that stimulates all your senses aptly called ‘The Garden of Five Senses’.

Situated in the 'Said-Ul-Ajaib village', close to the Mehrauli Heritage Area, and just a kilometre away from the Saket Metro Station that you must surely visit with your friends and family .

You can enjoy the greenery and the wide variety of flora and fauna that kindle

your senses. Since the garden is away from the hustle-bustle of the city, the chirping of the birds can be heard which indeed would make you feel relaxed and calm.

This is also an amazing place to stroll around since it has got various levels. The pathways are also surrounded by the different sculptures that you can gaze at. The garden has a wide variety of food stalls where you can also enjoy a wide array of the local cuisine. If you are looking for a place to put your photography skills at work this is the place you would want to be at.

The garden is open for the public from 9am till 7pm everyday. Entry in the garden is given only if the visitor is wearing a mask.

4. Galleria Market , Gurgaon

In the heart of Gurgaon is the place where you can get almost everything.


Whether you’re a shopping enthusiasts or a food enthusiasts or maybe just a person who wants to have a pleasant time, then Galleria is the perfect place for you. Located in Sector-28, Gurgaon, Galleria is the place where you will find the best of electronics and the best of restaurants and cafes.


So whether you want to hangout with your friends or have a pleasant family, Galleria has something for everyone.


5. Aravali Bio Diversity Park

Last but not the least, The Aravali Bio Diversity Park. Located on the Mehrauli- Gurgaon Road and just seven hundred metres away from Guru Dronacharya Metro Station.

So if you’re looking forward to have a pleasant stroll away from the city’s hustle and bustle, this is the place where you would want to be at. The park has an amazing cemented walking path of approximately five kilometres laid out.

And while you’re having your pleasant walk you can also spot a variety of birds. Since this place is also turning into a birding hotspot. Do carry a water bottle along with you if you’re coming here for a walk since the park does not have any stalls for refreshments.
